Incarcerated Ghanaian socialite and influencer Mona Faiz Montrage, widely known as Hajia 4Reall, is scheduled to be released from the Federal Detention Center (FDC) in Philadelphia, USA, on Thursday, May 22, 2025. According to records on the facility’s website, her release date has been confirmed.
Upon her release, Hajia 4Reall will be immediately transferred to the airport for deportation to Ghana. As reported by NYDJLive.com, this follows a November 2024 ruling by U.S. District Judge J. Paul Oetken, who approved a request from her legal team at Fast Law to expedite her self-deportation process once her prison term ended.
Hajia 4Reall was sentenced to one year and one day in prison after pleading guilty on February 21, 2024, to conspiracy to receive stolen money linked to romance scams. Despite her impending release, she will remain under three years of supervised release while in Ghana—a standard post-custody monitoring period for federal offenders.
During her sentencing, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams emphasized the severity of her crimes, stating:
Mona Faiz Montrage knowingly received illegal funds from elderly Americans who fell victim to romance scams. These scams exploit vulnerable victims, betraying their trust and stealing their money. Our office, alongside law enforcement partners, is committed to holding fraudsters accountable, no matter where they operate.”
