Asante Europe Association Donates To Hemanhene At The Official Commissioning Of Fentemfrem Community Center

The Asante Europe Association, a group committed to fostering development in the Ashanti Kingdom, made a generous contribution during the official commissioning of a 10-acre community center in Heman, in the Afigya Kwabre District of the Ashanti Region.

A four-member delegation; Adwoa Serwaah Kyei (2nd Deputy President), Abusuapanin John Boakye, Nana Ama Serwaah (Cologne Hemaa), and Nana Abena Takyiwaa Agyemang Prempeh (Obaapanin), expressed their appreciation to Nana Sawoansa I for his unwavering support to the association since its inception.

They praised his dedication to their cause, which has significantly contributed to the growth and impact of the group. The delegation reaffirmed the association’s mission to channel resources from Europe to drive development projects in Ghana, particularly within the Ashanti Kingdom.

 

The Asante Europe Association was founded in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2017 under the conscent of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The association’s launch, which was graced by Nana Sawoansa I, marked the beginning of its mission to unite Asantes living in Europe while contributing to the development of their homeland. Since its inception, the group has supported various projects aimed at improving the lives of people in the Ashanti Region and beyond.

During the event, Nana Sawoansa I expressed his gratitude to the association for their kind gesture and their continuous dedication to the development of Heman. He encouraged the group to remain steadfast in their efforts to foster progress in the Ashanti Kingdom.

The newly commissioned community center, a significant addition to the town, will serve as a hub for cultural, social, and economic activities, further cementing Heman’s role as a vibrant community in the region.

The Asante Europe Association’s ongoing contributions to the Ashanti Kingdom underscore the vital role of the diaspora in Ghana’s development.
