Be Creative Thinkers, Stop Blaming Economic Woes On Russia Ukraine War – Barima Sydney

Hiplife sensation, Barima Sydney says he is coming back with a song that he believes will shake the political spheres of the country.

The artist who is known for his political songs in a recent interview charged President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government to go every length to fix the economy they promised Ghanaians.

He warned government to refrain from blaming its economic failure on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

Speaking on Connect FM’s ‘Edwumapa Mmre‘, the singer indicated that the country is faced with an economic crisis because leaders have failed to think creatively.

Actress, Yvonne Nelson, has asked President Akufo-Addo whether he is impressed with the current state of the country.

In an Instagram post, she quizzed

Mr. President, are you happy with Ghana so far?”

According to Yvonne Nelson, Ghanaians are not happy with the current living standards and the growth of the Ghanaian economy.

“We are NOT!”

she simply wrote on March 31.

Prior to her recent post, the actress while speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, entreated the government to shelve the implementation of the Electronic Transactions Levey (e-levy).

She said members of the general public are not pleased with its introduction.

Ghana’s economic woes aren’t unique. Everybody suffers globally. If your fundamentals are weak, the exchange rate will expose you, that’s what’s happening in Ghana,”

he said.

He further tasked Ghanaians to be wise when making decisions at the polls.

I can’t recommend NPP or NDC to Ghanaians in 2024, vote based on who how you live. I am not static, I belong to any political party, and I can speak up if things are wrong,”

he stated.

Announcing the song which he is yet to release Sydney stated,

I’ll shortly release a current events tune. ‘Power’ comes out in August. That music will shake everywhere.”
