Black Stars Defender, John Paintsil is in the grips of the Police on the charge of assault and causing harm.

According to an eyewitness living around his Trassaco residence, John Paintsil physically assaulted his wife after a misunderstanding between the defender and his wife over an amount of GHC 20,000.

According to Greater Accra PRO of Police, DSP Freeman Tettey, it was
revealed that after initial interrogations, it was established that the
footballer had stabbed his wife.

The wife denied the
allegations when Citifm contacted her. She said nothing of that sought
happened and she doesn’t want to loose her marriage so nobody should
publish it.
