Popular and controversial Nollywood actor Jim Iyke last week Tuesday caused drama in an Abuja court after his alleged 15 million naira case was heard.

Jim Iyke was allegedly in court for his alleged involvement in the transfer of a company’s share worth N15m to himself.

Nigeriafilms.com reported that after the court hearing the case case, Jim Iyke allegedly ordered one of his aides to seize a fan’s phone:

The fan had been taking pictures of him at the court premises.
He also allegedly deleted pictures of him on the fan’s phone. Jim Iyke was reportedly busy on his phone while his case was heard in court.

The website also added that the police had finally established a criminal case against him.
The police told the court that a criminal case had been established against Jim Iyke for his alleged involvement in the transfer of the company’s share worth of N15m to himself.

Getting to know about the absence of the company’s manager, who invited the police into the case, Habiba Abubakar in court last Tuesday, the actor sought the dismissal of the case but the magistrate, Azubike Okeagu did not oblige him. The case has been adjourned to May 23.
