Nominations Open For 2021 RTP Awards

Big Events Ghana, organizers of the annual Radio and Television Personality [RTP] Awards has opened for nominations for deserving media personalities to submit their works for consideration in the 2021 edition of the scheme.
RTP Awards seeks to reward deserving personalities, broadcasters and media houses for their immense contribution in disseminating information and shaping the nation.
2021 marks the eleventh year of it’s inception and has been held annually and rewarded several personalities and put spotlights on some presenters from different regions in Ghana.
Notable names to have received awards include; Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, Dr. Ofori Sarpong, (Despite Media Group) Dr. Kwabena Duffour, ace television sports show host Kwabena Yeboah (GTV), KSM, Bola Ray (CEO of EIB Network), Nana Aba Anamoah (EIB Network), Countryman Songo, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, Captain Smart, Kofi Kumbilson, Kwame Adinkrah, Nana Ama McBrown, Joe Lakka, Abeiku Santana, Johnny Hughes, Don Summer, among others.
The RTP Awards has also witness great performances from great Ghanaian artistes like; Kojo Antwi, Shatta Wale, Lord Kenya, Stonebwoy, Ebony Reigns, C-Zar, ASEM, Efya, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, King Promise, Akatakyie, Ruff “N” Smooth, Joyce Blessing, Anita Afriyie, SP Kofi Sarpong, Joe Mettle and a host of them.
The 10th edition was held on Saturday 7th November, 2020 at the plush Kempinski Hotel – Gold Coast City, Accra.
Announcing on the RTP Awards official Instagram handle, the organizers wrote;
“Big Events Ghana, organizers of the prestigious annual Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards have announced a call for entry for the 2021 edition of the awards.
Interested broadcasters and media organisations can file for nominations via the scheme’s website. To be eligible for the awards this year, applicants must have worked between July 2020 and June 2021.
