Nominees Announced for 5th Floodlight Media Excellence Awards

The organizers of the 5th Floodlight Media Excellence Awards (FMEA25) have released the full list of nominees for this year’s edition. The announcement was made on Wednesday, 13th August 2025, on the Music Plus Show aired on Kessben TV.

Following weeks of submissions and careful deliberations, a total of 455 nominees have been shortlisted across 63 categories. The selection was based on specific criteria aimed at honoring outstanding media personalities and individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the media industry and national development.

Speaking at the launch, the CEO of the Floodlight Media Excellence Awards, Mr. Augustine Acquah, revealed that the prestigious Big 6 Awards will remain noncompetitive. These include the Media Personality of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Media Spotlight in Humanitarian, Media CEO of the Year, and International Media Personality. The winners of these honorary categories will be announced live on the awards night.

The main event of the 5th Floodlight Media Excellence Awards is scheduled for Saturday, 4th October 2025, at the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi.
