Rose Adjei Bemoans Widespread Hypocrisy in the Gosple Music Fraternity, the Two-Faced Reality of Prominent Figures

Written by on December 15, 2023

In a candid revelation, the sensational “Na God” hitmaker, Rose Adjei, has laid bare the prevalent hypocrisy and disunity within the Gospel music community. Speaking on Accra100.5FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo on December 12, 2023, Rose Adjei lamented the existence of “so many people” in the industry who wear a facade of righteousness while harboring duplicity.

Without pinpointing specific individuals, Rose highlighted that these two-faced personas were, in fact, “prominent and talented people in the industry.” This revelation prompted Rose to express her inclination towards isolation, as she navigates the complexities of an industry tainted by hidden agendas.

When pressed by host Akua Sonto for names or genders, Rose Adjei shared a valuable lesson she has learned – that one must attain a certain level of stature in their career before openly addressing sensitive issues. She emphasized the risk of being labeled as jealous or envious if one speaks out prematurely.

Despite facing victimization from “celebrated Gospel musicians” over the years, Rose Adjei remains resilient. She disclosed instances where opportunities for her service were undermined by those within the industry. Undeterred, she asserted her commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and not allowing negativity to tarnish her relationships.

Lamenting the culture of silence in Ghana, Rose Adjei criticized the tendency to remind those who speak out of religious commitments while the offenders escape rebuke. She highlighted the need for a shift in this paradigm, where the wronged are not silenced by virtue and where accountability is upheld even within the sacred circles of Gospel music. Rose Adjei’s bold stance marks a crucial step towards unraveling the hidden truths within the industry, urging a call for transparency and unity.
